About
Photography is a moment in time lived out for a lifetime. Together we will discuss what sentiment and emotion you want to achieve and plan a time and a place to foster the emotions necessary to capture your vision.
As a member of the Professional Photographers Association and North American Nature Photography Association, I have access to some of the industry's greatest training and photographic tools. While I consider each assignment individually, the foundation of photography, and what makes it timeless remains the same.
The ability to create an emotional reaction for people long after the event or time has passed. Knowing that clients can relive and experience a moment any time they want is important to me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step for us is to have a phone consultation; let's see what you're looking for. I am an excellent photographer, but not every assignment is best suited for me. If it is, we will move on to planning, location, appropriate clothing, and ensuring we get the emotion and event captured correctly.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I enjoy outdoor spontaneous, candid shots. They allow the person to be photographed to relax and not be stiff or constrained to a studio's backdrop.
Adventure, hiking, kayaking, etc. allowing people to capture high-quality memories without the fear of losing or dropping their phone or camera.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
The camera and equipment aren't as important as the photographer's ability to look through your eyes and see the vision you have.
Believing that all photographers are the same. We each have our own style and strengths and well as weaknesses.
If you're looking for a studio experience, I'm not your man. But if you want a fully customized family, kid, pet portraits, or candids in dynamic environments, we may be a perfect fit!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Always ask, "Can you see what I'm saying?"
