Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Message me with the details of your product, quantity, number of images you’d like per item, and approx. budget. Once we sort out the price and contract (including return shipping costs), ship the items you want photographed to me. I will shoot them, retouch the images, send the images to you, and then send the products back to you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15+ years experience working with actors, musicians, models, brides, families, lawyers, doctors, etc from all backgrounds and with a very wide range of styles, goals, and creative challanges.
I have shot studio, outdoors, evening, locations, homes, etc.
I'm very portable, flexible and try to always achieve the custormers goals and communcate ideas.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have set rates for headshots (starting at $225), packages for weddings (starting at $1200) , my product and events shoots start at $250 but really depend on the finer details to work out the pricing.
How did you get started in this business?
When i was in college i started making websites for a lot of unknown bands and most of them needed content photos, so i just started taking them myself. A few years later a goth girl friend of mine asked me to take pics of her. Shortly after that I added a photo section to my website and then wound up working for the band KMDFM. I went on a full tour of the United States with them and shot models during my down time between shows.
The Agency, commercial, Headshots, portraits, product and wedding stuff all evolved later from there.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had my work featured on Paul C Buff's website as a banner image from the Einstein lights for a full year. They also used one of my images in a full page advertisment in Professional Photographer Magazine.
