Bokeh & Vignette
About
I specialize in creative portrait photography. Rather than taking just a standard photo and calling it a day, as a creative portrait photographer I combine many different real-world and technical elements together to creative an image that will be worthy of a spotlight on a hallway or hanging upon the mantelpiece of that fictional fireplace.
To create a unique image that will transcend the barriers of time is a thrill. This images will be here long after we are gone, which is why I always strive to get the perfect photograph.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When people want a photoshoot there's always a reason. Whether is for a birthday, for fun, or a milestone the client already has in mind what they want and is our job to translate that into an image and surpass their expectations. I have an interview with the potential client so gage what they have in mind and also ask for images that inspire them or demonstrate what it is they would like to go for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When it comes to photography you never stop learning. From new new editing techniques to new gear that can take your photography to the next level. I spent three years of my photography career focusing mainly on posing and lighting which personally believe to be the two most important things when it comes to portraits.

How did you get started in this business?
I've always had a fascination with photography from looking at magazines and fine art. I've been a slave to corporate America most of my life and had no creativity outlet to keep me sane. I started off with my phone and then got my first camara and that changed my life.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I primarily work with models building or updating portfolios, but I'm also experienced with weddings, quinceañeras, elopements, professional headshots, and children.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I did a campaign for a makeup company in which I had to do things out of my comfort zone and implement new techniques and really help me grow immensely as a photographer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I've always said someone's work should speak for itself and when it comes to photography that statement is more valid than ever. Look at their body of work to determine if that photographer is a good fit for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If I were a potentional client looking for a photographer these would be some of my questions.
