Everything about Atom and his quality of work was wonderful! He was quick to respond and open to the vision I had for my event. The end product was produced with an excellent turnaround (quicker than I expected, always a plus). I highly recommend him and cannot wait to get back out to Vegas to work with him again. Great person all around and will make certain your photos are exquisitely captured.

This is actually me in the photos. We did our shoot in the park. Not only was my experience was professional but, it was fun. The direction I was given was creative and my own suggestions were taken into consideration. I was so impressed by the quality of the photos and felt they really reflected my personality. Overall the experience was fantastic and would definitely use HOTHEADS Headshots for any other photography needed.

I have to say I was pretty lucky to have worked with hotheads. He is so very helpful and kind. I barely started modeling when I met him and he made me feel so comfortable and help me with posting. The shoots Ive done with Atom, there was never a dull moment. His photos are amazing, his editing skills are phenomenal. I will continue to use hotheads for my photo gigs!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them not only about details but what excites them the most about the photo session. I focus on that energy and go from there. It entails what the final images will come out like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken many courses to hone my craft and I've been a professional photographer in Las Vegas since 2010 and have now moved the studio to Salt Lake City to have a wider ranger of surroundings and options for background and studio setup.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I'm known for my cinematic style headshots and portraits but I'm also known for being able to turn the subject into a work of art. For a headshot session it's $200, for a portrait session it's $400 and for making you one of my "masterpieces" it's $800. I've never had an unhappy client in any of those capacities for whatever you choose. Each pricing includes studio setup, equipment transportation (if it's an outdoor shoot - i have a fully portable studio), post-production touchups and 10 chosen edits out of the full array of taken photos.
How did you get started in this business?
There was much magic to be documented in Las Vegas so it called to me after getting bored with being a graphic designer for an ad agency. So I decided to not only take photos but to also put my design super powers to use for the studio and add my own artistic flavor to the magic.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've run the gamut from pinup models, burlesque dancers, playboy models to rock stars to graduating senior portraits and cake smashers, maternity shoots and band photos - pretty much you name it! (Except weddings - did my share of those and not my bag baby lol)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was inducted into the Royal Snapping Artists group which is a prestigious photographers collective.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure to meet in person for a face to face at least once to discuss details. A phone call at the very least to make sure you're all on the same page.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Date and time of course, what makes them smile when they think about the session, how many outfit changes, location, and if they have a makeup artist and hair artist. I always recommend hiring not not doing it yourself. TREAT YO'SELF. You're always worth it. Life is hard - it's never the wrong time to give yourself a present. Let's have fun first and foremost
