Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing is to speak with the customer to determine what they are looking for. In conjunction with what the client wants and the professional insight to come up with the ultimate look for that particular customer. Always listening to the needs and wants of the customer first.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 23 years experience on diverse hairstyling. I hold 3 licenses in different states. I've worked on set doing hair for music videos and short films with the Beauty and Photo agency in Los Angeles. I've owned a salon and currently in the process of opening up a new location in Las Vegas Nevada.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes I do. All prices are contingent upon services.
How did you get started in this business?
I never liked the way hairdressers did my hair. I had a cousin who made 10000 a month. My parents talked me into going to her and I did. When she turned me around in her chair to see my hair. I started crying immediately. I had my mom take me to the supply store to buy me hair products. I went home and ran to the bathroom. When I came out my BESTFRIEND who was in tears laughing. Along with my mom and dad. Said WOW! IT LOOKS BETTER THAN WHAT SHE DID! I WAS 13. I KNEW THAT WAS MY CALLING.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all diversity of customers and ethnic groups.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The event I am most fond of is the community service I offered women and children living in homeless shelters. For them to see there new hairstyles and the grin on there faces. Were priceless.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would advise all customers to request pictures of there work. Also ask questions about scheduling. To make sure they don't over book. No one wants to be in a salon like an 8 hour job for a services that takes 2 hours.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Pricing of services. Time it takes to perform that service. And the upkeep of whatever services are being rendered.
