N2D Photography, Inc.
About
Hello, Thank you for stopping by my profile!
My background in photography started when I was younger, in High School & I have been doing photography ever since. I did a lot of photography in the Military during Special Operations missions, though only when time/training allowed. I have continued to pursue my photography after I got out of active duty and became a US Marshal. During a particularly downtime during this frame, I got into Architectural Photography while assigned in Washington DC.
An opportunity arose for me in 2004, so I resigned from the Marshals Service and began contracting. Since 2004 until currently my contracting time has been split between Iraq and Afghanistan. Traveling and working in these environments, as well as other areas, has provided an additional perspective to my photography. There have been times when I have been between my rifle and my camera, but only when it has been clearly available. I have literally dropped my camera a number of times if the transition needs to happen. Due to my photography/professional background, I have provided services for various government and private organizations, both behind a camera and drones.
I am always trying to improve my photography as I feel there is always something to learn and improve on. I am a member of the National Association of Nature Photographers and a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. I also have my FAA 107 Commercial Drone License and fly a DJI Inspire 1 for the time being and will be what I will use for any Aerial Photography/Videography services provided.
My photography, as with others, allows me to capture a specific moment in time and best expresses what my eye catches at that moment in time. I have a very unique, specialized and learned background. I will work with you to provide the best possible image/product I can. My knowledge of light and composition will bring a unique perspective to your project.
Feel free to reach out to discuss what I can do to satisfy your photographic needs. If we match, I look forward to working with you on your project.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know what the client is looking for and coming up with a plan to satisfy their needs. I will do this in conjunction with the client or independantly, which ever fills the needs best. I feel if our personalities match, then we can come up with a mutually satisfying project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a photographer for over 30 years. I always have tried to improve my art as I feel one should never stop learning. I have provided photography services during my time in the military while in Special Operations and as a government contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am a member of the National Association of Nature Photographers and a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. I have my FAA 107 Commercial Drone License, currently flying a DJI Inspire 1. As stated previously, I always try to improve my art and am ever learning new ways of approaching a photography issue/project.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
At this point, I feel my services (pre/post production) are well over the amount I will charge generally. That being said, I will charge $175/hr (or any portion of said hour) at this point in time. If the job consists of more desired products, prices will be discussed with each individual client in order to provide the best possible product within their budget, needs and desires.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with government and personal customers. I can provide a wide variety of services to fit the customers needs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently did some photography at the NinjaNation Mobile event here in Las Vegas NV in the Downtown Summerlin area. It was a wonderful experience with a great turnout of kids and adults who wanted to try their hand at the NinjaNation Mobile Obstacles! It was just a fun event.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions and see if the person you are looking at hiring will provide the services you desire. Is he/she willing to work with you to give you what you need? Do you feel their personality is a good match with yours?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Look at their past work if available. Present what you need to the pro you are looking at hiring and see if they can come up with great suggestions to fit your needs as a customer. Are they willing to work with you or do they present an air that they are not? Will they stand being their work and get the job done correctly?
