Having been engaged for nearly 10 years in acting, both on the commercial front and in community theatre, I've worked with several photographers, and Lucie Aleks is definitely my favorite. My shooting session with her was the best experience I've had. She was a delight to work with and very professional. She provided me with wonderful directives that enhanced the variation in overall looks and facial expressions captured in hundreds of shots, all of which were taken outdoors in natural lighting with multiple and interesting backgrounds. I was particularly tired the day of the shoot, and she was extremely patient with me, gently encouraging me to give her more. Needless to say, it took me quite a while to narrow down my favorite pics. Also important to me was the process of photo touch-up, during which she was very patient and attentive to my specific requests. I am thrilled with all of my selected new shots in three different attires, several of which I have posted on Casting Frontier, and a couple on Facebook. I was taken aback by some of the wonderful feedback I received for my new FB profile shot. I've also received comments of praise from directors on several of my new headshots that I've used for theatre auditioning purposes. To sum it up, her pricing was far beyond reasonable for the effort and product I received. When I require new photos in the future, I won't hesitate to contact Lucie Aleks again.
