About
My work as a rock and fashion photographer are classic portraiture mostly in San Francisco Bay Area. I was featured in LEICA FOTOGRAFIA INTERNATIONAL magazine in 2008. My shots include Blondie, the Ramones, ROXY MUSIC, the Dead Kennedy's, Jeniffer Miro of The NUNS, Sophia Loren, Danny Glover and many other bands & personalities.
I enjoyed the travel and interfacing with agencies, talent and booking agents. When I worked in Hollywood in the early 80's I enjoyed being the set photographer on various projects including the cult film classic, Get Crazy starring Malcolm McDowell & Daniel Stern. Working with the talent is always challenging and that is part of the allure of accomplishment by seeing a positive outcome in a given project. Getting an announcement from the greatest and oldest photography journal in the world, LEICA'S FOTOGRAFIA INTERNATIONAL, that selected your works to be featured in their magazine along with the greatest photographers such as Mann Ray, Frank Capra, & Robert Steiglitz, allows one a great sense of achievement.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied film and photography in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years and worked in photo studios and film labs throughout the city and Cupertino. I also worked at NASA as a Photo Technologist for 4 years as a U2 & ER2 film processor. I worked and studied photography in Rome for nearly two years at L'Istituto LUCE. I worked in Cine Citta as a PA with Federico Fellini on his production, The Clowns.
