I've been doing events since 1991. We started out as an event venue located in Tribeca NYC and then became a full-service event planning company. I have my Masters Degree in Writing and Performance from NYU. I know great entertainment and in addition to producing thousands of events I also produce theatre and music. My play "The Pill" ran off-broadway in 2018 to critical acclaim and sold out crowds. I am a founding partner at True Groove Records, "NYC's fastest rising record label." Since 2014 we have produced and released 61 albums, 5 of those albums are my own. Yes, I am also a performer.
I am mentioning all this because my experience is as a producer : of events, of theatre, of live performances, of music videos and of music.
Each party is customized and personal. Our full-service planning rates start at $5000 and our fee for decor design starts at $5000. Our day of event coordination fees range from $150-$300 per hr. Staffing ranges from $75-$125 per hr.
We also offer event and design consultation packages as well as a la carte pricing for entertainment.
i wanted to open up a theatre company in Tribeca. There were a lot of empty storefront lofts at the time. We thought an event business would be the perfect marriage for the theatre. And we were right!!
We've literally produced thousands of events. We have worked with all types of customers and have done all types of events. We have a special niche in creating beautiful parties for kids - we admit it, we have a soft spot for seeing our little ones enthralled by the magic of their imaginations. We love to do this for adults too. We have corporate clients, A-listers, business executives, CEO's, celebrities, stay at home moms, international clients, diplomats, stay at home dads - we don't discriminate. We like people - all people. All we ask is that you show up with a genuine desire to celebrate and have fun.
We recently did a classic English Garden Tea Party for 8 yr old girls in Alpine NJ. It was magical. We set up a tent on the patio and designed a beautiful table with charming and quirky tea pots, flowers, saucers, gnomes, scones, petit fours, strawberry smoothies, heart shaped tea sandwiches etc. We made custom pink tulle skirts for the girls to dress up in along with their pink parasols and tulle favor bags. Down in the garden we had another tent set up with a jewelry-making and flower wreath making activities. We designed custom favor bags - the entertainment was superb. The whole event was so charming and fun. The mother's of the girl was so enameled of the party she asked her husband to do an adult version for her in the Spring!!
Hire someone you connect with and trust. It's a relationship you are developing so you want to be sure you feel comfortable with the planner and that they seem to "get you" and your "vision." Have a budget in mind for your event so you and the potential planner can save time going back and forth.
