Doron Gild Photography
About
Israeli born, Brooklyn based professional photographer whose work has appeared in national and regional publications for the last 15 years. He holds a BFA and MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. During his career Doron has seamlessly navigated between art and commercial ventures. Whether a project calls for an atmosphere that is whimsical, bright, luxurious, formal or otherwise, his clients have been able to rely on Doron to be adaptive, imaginative and to deliver photographs that perfectly suit their needs. Bacardi, Chivas Regal, Jon BonJovi, and Steven Soderberg, are but a few examples of clients for whom Doron has fashioned advertising campaigns, conveyed their stories and revealed the intimate and extraordinary. Doron’s approach to portraiture is characterized by meticulous planning of framing and lighting which allows him to concentrate on engaging with the people he is photographing. He is a people person who is inspired by his subjects and strives to create unique work that explores individuals and the spaces they inhabit. With his pictures Doron can tell a story simply and naturally or create an entirely fictitious world where imagination is the only limitation. In either case, Doron makes sure his sitters feel at ease and can be themselves in front of the camera so the pictures can best reflect the story they want to tell.
