Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by asking a few questions to get a feel for what the client is looking for in the photo session. This would include style, who is the intended audience, images they are inspired by.
Then we could talk over locations, lighting, and good ways to start shooting and how the shoot would evolve. I want the client to get great photos and enjoy the experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a photographer for over 40 years. My main work is with people, photographing lifestyle imagery for commercial clients as well as for private clients.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have certain price ranges for different types of shoots. For example if I were to shoot headshots for a corporate client I have a base price whether I go to them or they come to me. If there are additional looks the price would be adjusted (say a casual outdoor look along with a studio photo shoot)
Also with event photography I have a base price and packages for albums.
