Frequently asked questions

I usually start with a phone call to my perspective clients to gauge what they are looking for in photography coverage  for their event.

I have worked for several major Long Island wedding photo studios over the past 18 years.  I worked for Canon USA  as a camera expert and Corporate photographer for 13 years and previously was Manager of Digital Photography for Idüstria Superstudio, a major fashion studio in NYC and Milan Italy, where major celebrities and fashion shoots happened on a daily basis.

I discuss the  needs and expectations with my clients, and prices are based on the event, specific timeframe, travel etc., requested for the photo services. Each client has individual needs, and as such my pricing is based upon their specific requests.

I began at 16 years old photographing major rock and roll concerts, cityscapes ,architectural shots as well as street scenes and people.  I love capturing the intractions of people, their expessions and emotiona, and I also enjoy nature and macro photography.

I have worked with celebrities  such as Oprah Winfrey, Hugh Grant, Antonio Bandaras, Vin Diesel and Shakira to name a few, while working at Indüstria Superstudio. While working for Proline Studios, DèjáVu studios, Madison Avenue Studios and Lighthouse Studio, I have photographed approximately 800 weddings including  photographing 20 weddings for colleagues that I worked with at Canon USA.  I've supplied Canon USA with corporate headshots for over 60 company executives and department heads, as well as provide photo coverage for all corporate sponsored events.

2020 was a tough year for couples looking to be married. I look back fondly on a backyard wedding I photographed in the summer -- since then I have photographed their newborn and holiday family pictures for them -- my services are very personal and clients seem to appreciate my attention to their needs and details, and ultimately request my services again and again, and recommend my work and services to both friends and family members.

Always talk to your photographer, even when dealing with a studio who show you beautiful images from their many staff photographers -- the chemistry between the client and photographer will impact the results of the final images --if personalities are not a good fit, no matter how expert and beautiful the images produced, a personality clash will impact how the client will view and interpret their final images.  That is the best advice I feel I can give to a perspective customer.

Customers should always consider time.  With weddings customers should consider travel time from home to venue,  if there is a distance between 'church' and venue, of if there is a photographic spot such as a park or arboretum before arrving at the venue. Also afford time at the venue for group photos; the larger the groups are, wedding party, quinceñera court /sweet 16 court,  family groups etc, the more time needed for photos  -- please allow time for such formal photos.
