Cali Styles Salon
About
My service stands out because I don't run my salon like a machine. I believe in quality over quantity in my daily work schedule. I feel each client deserves your complete attention, so I like to schedule myself accordingly. Of course there are always days (or certain seasons) where the schedule can get crazy but the client's wants and needs are always at the top of my mind while they are in the chair.
EVERYTHING!!! The nervousness in the beginning and the pure excitement at the end of every appointment. The power of confidence my clients feel about their look. It doesn't matter if it's just a little tweek in their current style or a major overhaul taking them onto their next journey in life, that is why I do what I do, for them!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every appointment starts with a thorough consultation. All aspects of the clients hair and daily regimen are discussed in both professional hair terms and the clients version of those terms 😉 The achieved look is a masterpiece that will make both the client and the hairdresser feel amazing about themselves!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After having completed beauty school and taken the state board test early so my license was ready at graduation, I followed my dreams of being trained by the best in the business. Certifications include training with: Paul Mitchell, Redken, L'Oreal, Vidal Sassoon, Davines, Wella, Coppola Keratin, and all forms of hair extensions.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing for services vary. The actual cost of services is determined during the consultation. Any pricing given to a client via phone or email is generally a range from the lowest to possibly the highest cost so the client has an idea in their head when booking the appointment.
How did you get started in this business?
Hairdressing has been a passion of mine since elementary school. I've always enjoyed the change in cuts and colors over the years and loved being able to express myself through that. Seeing my clients leave with more confidence in themselves for braving the change they may have needed at that time in their life makes it all worth while!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all different customers male or fenale. Age does not matter to me. I love working with kids as well as adults.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to find someone who has a passion and true love for what they do for a living. Someone who will understand and deliver your wants and needs. And finally someone who isn't afraid tell you NO to a service(s) that isn't right for your hair or look. Those are the ones you can trust aren't in it for just the money.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Don't be afraid to ask questions. There's no stupid questions out there when it comes to your hair. Being in the business I've heard every question under the sun and most of the time it's the same clients asking the same questions all the time and it never gets old!
And never lie about what you're using on your hair. The only way stylists can cure any problems is if we know exactly what your using and can correct it the proper way
