What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For Makeup clients I always like to take the time to first ask what their day to day skincare regiment is, what their skin type is, do they have any skin concerns, any allergies, what their go-to beauty look is, what desired look would they like

For Hair clients I first ask what their normal hair care process is, I evaluate their hair texture, ask how their hair holds a style, ask what they want their hair to do or not do, and discuss what is achievable with the desired look.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Valerie has been working in the beauty industry for almost 20 years. Becoming a highly sought-after beauty ambassador, educator, and speaker for a range of beauty brands giving expert knowledge on trending beauty with beauty tutorials and tips and tricks. Valerie's work can be seen on the red carpet, in the pages of Rolling Stone to the girl next door.

Makeup for red carpet, photos, event, etc. (includes lashes) $75
(Estimated 30 min session)

Eyes Only (includes lashes) $50

Hair and Makeup
Hourly $125 (min 2 hrs)
Half-day Rate $450
Full-day Rate $750
Photography 8hrs max
Film 10hrs max
Overtime $200/hr up to 2 hrs over - $250/hr 3+ hrs over

WEDDINGS

* In-studio hair and makeup trial consist of 2 hair and 2 makeup looks is $200.

* Day-of on-site makeup & hair starts at $300 for the bride, and bridal-party makeup starts at $65 and $75 with faux lash application, bridal-party hair starts at $65 for down style and $75 for up-do.

• Makeup look includes False Lashes and a Makeup Touch-Up Kit consisting of the lip color and blotting powder to keep the shine at bay.

• Bridal Hair includes a Hair Touch-Up Kit consisting of extra bobby pins and hairspray to maintain the look all night.

Travel Fee within the New York metro area is $35 to $50 (Extra fee for anything outside of the metro area)
