I love telling a story through photography. I especially excel in capturing the essence of an Architectural style/Interior design and displaying it digitally. I'm passionate about every single part of the process from discussing the history/purpose for the building to editing the images to create a crisp final project. Through my travel experiences and work at the American Institute of Architecture in New York I have gained an understanding of the profession and how important an image is in telling the Architectural story. I have sifted through many Design Award submissions and a spectacular image or vice versa can be an important factor in decision making. I am new to the space, but I think that goes to show how adapable I am in creating a final product as apose to people who have been in the profession for many years.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically hold a 30 minute or 1hr consultation with propective clients. This is where we can talk more about the project, number of images, mood they would like conveyed, and any important features they would like featured in the final product. This is also the point where we will talk about budgets, time frame for image turnover, and access to building/site.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently work at the Architecture Institute of New York and have honed my skills by working and learning more about Architecture through working with various Architects around the New York City area. I have also worked with professional Aarchitectural Photographers over the years and have gained experience through 7 months of travel in South East Asia.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
This generally depends on the project. However, my pricing structure depends on the combination of amount of hour onsite, number of images requested by the client, and post production hours.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been facinated by Architecture through my travel experience in South East Asia. When I arrived back in my home town (New York City) I was determined to gain more knowledge about the field and found myself mezmorized by the images and how they can be used to tell a story about a location/building style. I landed a great job at the American Institute of Architecture and immediately became a student of the various Architects I can across and working shoots with members that also happen to be Architecture Photographers. Now, I have started my own Architectural Photography business (SKPhotography) that I hope you will entrust to take some spectacular photos.
