Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really enjoy getting to know my clients. I prefer to have a quick consultation to find out the type of skin, concerns and expectations of the client. This information greatly impacts what products and techniques I will use to achieve the desired overall appearance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have obtained various certifications in makeup and hair styling from a variety of educators in the beauty industry including celebrity artists and makeup concentrated academies. I have more than 7 years experience in hair styling and makeup. In addition to my clients, I have worked during NYFW, various photoshoots, editorials, beauty campaigns including Covergirl and private labels/designers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices vary based on desired look. If you desire individual or dramatic lashes, that is available at an additional fee. Fee will depend on whether it will be a full/few or partial lashes. There is no travel fee for NYC, LIC, most parts of Brooklyn, Queens and Westchester counties. There will be a $25 travel fee for bookings located outside 20 miles of Yonkers, NY and NJ.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had the pleasure of working with all types of ethnicities and backgrounds from children, professional models, actors, to young and mature adults.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Take a look at the artist profile page and maybe even social media accounts, if available. This will assist the customer in viewing potential results and resonate with the style of the artist.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Clients should have a good idea or inspiration reference of their desired look. This will greatly help to have clear and accurate communication between them and the stylist/artist. However, if the client is not certain of what they want, they should be transparent and discuss options so that the expectations are accurately met.
