My Grandfather always wanted to own an ice cream parlor and I always wished that there was a real fifties-era diner in Columbus, Ohio.

In 2014 I decided it was time to bring the fabulous fifties to my hometown and The Sock Hop Soda Shop was born. In the tradition of the soda shops of our youth my shop features the great food, music, clothes and fun that defined one of the greatest times in our country's historyAnd in memory of my beloved Grandfather, I named my new truck Eddie so that he would always be with me as I scoop the tastiest ice cream treats and serve up the best Root Beer Floats in America.

At my diner I'm proud to serve only the finest foods including Velvet Ice Cream and novelties and Frostop Root Beer - the best Root Beer in America three years running.
