    Frequently asked questions

I believe that the best photoshoot is a well-planned photoshoot. With that in mind, I am always happy to have virtually unlimited conversations with my clients over the phone, by email, etc. to discuss their photoshoot, outfits, looks, etc. I love to use Pinterest and I often will create a private pinboard with my clients to help plan their shoot!

I studied photography at the Ohio State University but most of what I know has been learned through running my photography business for the last 15 years.

Yes. My pricing is super simple. I have a simple hourly rate for shoots, and for every hour I shoot I include 4 hours of editing / post-processing. All of my clients receive an online, password-protected gallery of their images which they can download directly in high-resolution at no additional cost whatsoever.

I have loved photography my entire life. I always knew it's what I wanted to do. I made it happen.

    Every kind.

I did a boudoir photoshoot for a beautiful woman who did not think of herself as attractive at all - but she couldn't have been more wrong. We had soooo much fun during her shoot, and I would show her occasional glimpses on of shots we had done on the back of the camera, and she got more and more excited as she saw the images. She was beyond thrilled when she saw the final versions in her gallery and was nearly in tears on the phone with me! ( I think they were good tears! )

Exercise caution. There are a lot of pretenders. Seriously, there really are. If a photographer doesn't want you to bring anyone to the shoot with you, no matter what their reasoning is, that is a warning sign. Don't ignore it!

Carefully consider the photographer's portfolio and their prices. See how much time they are willing to invest in planning your photoshoot. Ask them everything you can so that you are completely informed.
