About
• Hello, my name is Mickayla! I started taking photos in high school and fell in love with it. Now I’m a sophomore in college and still have such a passion for it.
•I do my best to keep pricing as low as possible for my clients because I know how expensive it can be and how being able to capture these moments would be such a great experience for you to keep for years to come.
•I have experience in a lot of portrait photography, meaning engagements, senior portraits, children, and families. If you would like to see some of the work I’ve done please feel free to head over to my Instagram page @mcochranphotos where I have posted some of my sessions.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can sit down and discuss what they want such as posing, and location. Then we go over how the day will go, how long a session would take and pricing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Standard pricing is done hourly: $75/hr of the session. This covers taking the pictures as well as editing and a free gift! A normal session last 2-3 hours so expect a pricing of $150-$225.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in photography when I took a yearbook class my junior year of high school. I was always the one being sent to events to take pictures and I fell in love with it. Then I started taking senior portraits my senior year and it has continued to expand ever since.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When hiring a photographer, even if it’s not me, please make sure that they can envision what you’re looking for into the photos they take. Whether it be through lighting in the photo or the editing style. Find someone who can deliver you with images that you love, photos are expensive and you don’t want to walk away with photos you don’t love!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Look at poses, types of locations, and also just know what kind of editing styles you like. Some people love senior portraits that say their name and look edited with a glow around them, but some want photos that just look like a much advanced natural version of themselves. Knowing which styles you like can be important to finding a photographer who understands what you’re looking for.
