About

I put 36 years of experience behind every photo I take, and I believe that is conveyed in my past work.

I can process most bookings in less than 24 hours and provide proofs for the client to view on my website so they're not waiting around for days or weeks to see some results.

Lastly, great photography does not have to be expensive.

I pride myself on working one on one with the client to help realize their vision of the photo into something they will be proud to display.

Everybody's time is precious, but taking the time to get to know my client and connect with them prior to the shoot helps what many consider an awkward time move smoothly.

Frequently asked questions

Provide me with a brief explanation of exactly what you're looking for; a particular look, style or feel.

I will come back with my ideas, and how I will make that happen.  A contract will be provided to you outlining exactly what services I will provide and the timeline for completion.

I have been in photography since 1974.  I watched the industry change from film and chemical based process to a completely digital format.

My equipment and processing are state of the art. I can also do professional printing up to 13" x 19" borderless photos.

I have a flat rate of $75.00 per hour for simple portraiture and event photography.  This rate includes processing.  So a 3 hour shoot would cost you $225 out the door.

Weddings are $60.00 per hour, but there is a $300 processing charge due to the sheer number of shots taken that must be processed and provided as proofs.

I've always been interested in photography. As my experience increased, I purchased better equipment.  I was always the designated photographer at family functions and this naturally progressed to hiring out as a photographer for friends weddings, portraits etc.

I've mainly worked with musicians, but I have also done high school portraits, weddings and corporate functions.  Each client has their own unique needs and ideas. I enjoy working directly with them to bring that to fruition.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of my scheduled jobs have been either cancelled or rescheduled to 2021.

The last event I did was a pro bono job for special needs children Christmas concert.

Do your homework:

Get quotes from several photographers in writing.

Ask for references.

Ask for examples of their work.

Don't hire somebody on price alone.  You get what you pay for.  If the cost is significantly lower than the next highest option, ask why.  Are they going to stick you with some hidden fees at some point?

Conversely, a good photographer doesn't have to be super expensive.  If they are experienced and know what is expected of them, a streamlined workflow should be in place and second nature- making the job easier. Nobody can predict
