Mary Pencheff Photography
About
I specialize in commercial photography, portrait photography, wedding
and event photography and fine art photography.
As a fine art photographer I bring an artistic sensibility to all of my work. I have a genuine fascination with and interest in people and love what I do. My goal is to create images that reveal, excite, inspire and tell a story. I believe strongly in being a client-friendly, service-oriented business where creativity comes from working closely with my clients.
I have a B. S. in Photography from Bowling Green State University and as part of my continuing education, I have studied with some of the most prominent portrait, fine art and editorial photographers in the United States, including Mary Ellen Mark, Michael Grecco and Freeman Patterson. My corporate, journalistic and fine art images appear in books, calendars, greeting cards, magazines, billboards, and dozens of corporate publications and have received regional and national awards. My fine art images have been featured in more than a dozen solo exhibitions and included in more than 60 invitational and group shows since 1990. In 2003, I received an Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Award for my fine art photography.
The ability to meet and get to know new people and to create images for them that excite, inspire and tell a story.

Each photography specialty is priced separately and pricing adjustments are made for each individual client within each specialty. This allows the customer to receive exactly what they need at the price point that meets their needs.
How did you get started in this business?
I was originally a fine art photographer and I wanted to be able to create artistic imagery in other areas of photography. I love portraiture, commercial and wedding photography and wanted to bring a creative edge to that type of work.
