Morgan Studio
About
Both of my Degrees are in Photography and Film from Southwest Missouri University and Pittsburg State University. I have traveled the world on assignment and have been exclusively photographing for over 44 years. I have won countless awards and have spoken to and given seminars to photographers throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. I love the challenges of the job.
Many of my clients are amazed at how comfortable the sessions with me have been and surprised that "YES !! I can get a great portrait of myself !" This type of reward far eclipses any monetary amount charged. It doesn't matter if the session is photographing a product, piece of equipment, building, or a person, I always know that I must produce the best imagery my client has ever seen. The challenge is fun and the rewards for everyone involved are amazing.

A first consultation. I need to know what my client would like to see. A studio shot, enviornmental, in the workplace, a distant location, alone or with others, and what is teh final usage of the image.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Southwest MIssouri University adn a Masters Degree from Pittsburg State College. I have been in the business for over 44 years and world traveled on assignments. I understand lighting and the physics of the camera which enables me to control the final image when taken. I have givern seminars through out North America concerning processes and imagery to other professionals.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Because each job is different and generally require different attributes there is no set price on any of my sessions. At the consultation I have with my accounts we can arrive at a price to base the final billing to.
How did you get started in this business?
I was told I was over educated when I graduated with my Master of Art Degree and no one would hire me. I started my Studio three months after graduation and it took off like a bullet. Its been fun, challenging and the people that didn't hire me did me the best favor thay could have.I love my job and the people I work for.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Music Stars, Businesses, Presidents of Countries, Govenors of States, Regular "Joes", School age kids, Ad Agencies, and just your everyday person.
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
Because someone has a thousand dollar camera doesn't make them a Professional. Solid training, years of quality experience, and vision are the key qualities to look for.
What questions should customers think through before talking to vendors about their needs?
What do I really want as an end result in the image I am about to pay for. Can this person deliver it to me.
