I try to make the entire process from hire to ceremony fun, easy and personalized. I take the time to get to know the people that I work with.
I firmly believe that the clients are priority. I listen to what they are wanting, make suggestions when they aren't sure, and hopefully in the end, have given them a day to remember.
I offer discounts throughout the year. I travel from southern Oregon to northern Washington. I do my best to keep my prices reasonable and explain when I have to add an additional amount to a price.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take the time to get to know the client, what they are looking for, how they would like to see the pictures and then I explain how I work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started out as a novice, taking the usual birthday and holiday photos. A little over 10 years ago, I decided there had to be more to photography. I studied, took hundreds of photos, and practiced. I entered contests. One of the last ones I entered was the Salem Historical Photography Contest. I did not win or receive honorable mention, however, both of my submissions hung at the state capital. I started doing photos semi professionally and love what I do.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I start with a base price. If there are additional services, such as handfasting or unity sand/candle, those can add to the price. Also, location can affect the cost as well.
How did you get started in this business?
I got ordained in August 2019. I wanted to be the one that married my sister and brother in law to be. While it is temporarily on hold, I still want to be the one to perform the ceremony.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with young couples just starting out to those in their 70's, same sex couples, and those wanting to renew their vows. I have a "everyone is welcome" policy
Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I am currently helping to plan an outdoor July wedding. So far, everything has been going according to plan. However, due to the strange weather, I am still not able to get quotes for lavender and sunflowers. I also need to pot and grow corn. Yes, I said corn. My bride stated that it had something to do with the way they met.
I also need to find some corn shaped picks to go in her bouquet. So far, I am enjoying my couple and the planning.
I will also be officiating the ceremony. Lots of hands in this wedding.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions. Always, always ask questions. The pro you are planning, you need to be compatable on some level in order to work with them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How long have you been doing this? What made you get into this profession? How do you like or dislike what you are doing?
