About
I love helping my clients capture memories, put their best foot forward, or just have fun in front of the camera! I know getting portraits made can be nerve wracking, but it doesn't have to be. I especially love working with children, tweens, and teens. I have been behind a camera of some kind or another for 30 years, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I enjoy helping people capture a piece of their story by creating meaningful, fun, and expressive portraits. I work with families, kids/tweens, and high school seniors, as well as equestrians (my favorite!). Getting to know my clients and helping them feel great about their portrait experience is rewarding and a great honor.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with clients first (can be via Zoom these days!) to get a sense of what they want from our time together. We come up with a plan, including a general idea of prints and products they will want (if it is a portrait session). At the session itself, I schedule plenty of time to get the shots the client wants without feeling rushed. I like to take time to relax into the session. After the session, I'll present the best shots to the client and we'll put together a package of prints and products (for portraits) or selection of headshots.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in photography since high school where I learned to shoot on film. I carried this over into filmmaking, where I honed my sense of composition and lighting. I am back in photography full time now.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on which services the client chooses. For portraits, there is a $185 session fee. Headshot packages start at $299.
How did you get started in this business?
I picked up a camera in grade school and didn't want to put it down since. In middle school, I learned how to print and develop my own photographs. In high school, I fell in live with the way I could tell stories with pictures. Today, I love helping my clients create images that will help tell their stories.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with families, children, high school seniors, equestrians, corporate professionals, creative professionals, and many more
