How did you get started in this business?
I've always been interested in photography. I started taking photos for my work with Braden Social LLC. That was when I began covering events. I enjoyed it so much that in 2018 I decided to make it a business. Braden Social LLC DBA Braden Social Photography.

Since being founded by Eric Braden Zimmett in 2018, Braden Social Photography has been trusted by brands like Shaner Hotels; The United Way; Federal Taphouse in State College and Harrisburg; The Field Burger & Tap; WingFest at Tussey Mountain; the Central Pa Tasting Trail; and Toftrees Golf Resort.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I photographed an event at Seven Mountains Wine Cellars for the Centre County Realtors Association, capturing candid and engaging photos of guests. I snapped one of my favorite photos to date, when I clinked wine glasses with one fo the guests for the photo.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find a photographer that matches the style you're after. My style is candid portraiture-style photography, capturing authentic and engaging moments, allowing viewers to experience places and events through my work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Not enough people, or photographers for that matter, understand copyright and licensing. It's important to know these factors but not to confuse the two.
