What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depends on process needed. If its color about 2 to 3 hours , for cut 30 mins to an hour. With consulting with them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to beauty school during high school through vo tech, I been to hair shows in the area and New York city.

For hair cuts for women my starting price with wash is $28
Waxing
Lip -$7 chin-$10 brows- $10
Coloring with cut starts at $65
How did you get started in this business?
I got started honestly not knowing if I wanted to go to college or if I could go. So I figured I'd do something to get ahead in case it didnt work out. My aunt growing up cut hair so I guess run s in the family, my uncle in Sicily is a local barber and so is my cousin. At first when I started beauty school I didnt quite enough it but then I started to love it and now it's all I do!!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types. I will say working with ethnic hair is not my strongest.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask them anything, be as honest as you can be and show pictures of your current hair and the state of it and what your looking to go towards. If you cant be open to a stylist it's hard we wish we could read minds but also keep in mind we are beauticians not magicians we do our best of the abilities we have and experiences we have to achieve your goal. If you feel they have a good vibe try them out. Got to give a new hair stylist a few chances before you decide to leave them.
