Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to discuss with potential clients specifically what services they are looking for from their photographer, what their available budget to spend, and then educate them about the realistic cost of services their overall budget will afford them, as well as different options to keep the cost within their budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No specific school or training, just over 30 years experience of taking photos and video while learning what looks good and how to make it look realistic.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Rates are based on client needs, wants, and desires. However, the overall budget plays a big part in what services can be provided without spending more than clients can resonably afford to spend
How did you get started in this business?
After 30 years of photography experience, it was finally time to start getting paid for the work I have done. This business will take me into retirement after a sucessful and rewarding career as a Sports Medicine Professional who spent nearly 20 years working in Major League Baseball and National Hockey League.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have shot Weddings, B'nai Mitzvah(s), Real Estate and Architechture/Interiors, Sports, Landscapes, Travel and Underwater Photography.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research before contacting a photographer and asking for price quotes, be realistic about your spending budget and the product /service you are seeking; do not insult hardworking professionals with unrealstic expectations regarding the cost of their products and services. If you want high quality, professional services and results, expect to pay a fair price.
