Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet them in person if possible. I work one on one with clients to make sure the timing and planning of the photo-taking process runs smoothly and doesn't distract from the rest of your wedding day
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill's Journalism school with a BA in Photojournalism in 2005. I have since been shooting weddings all over NC and elsewhere and have received numerous awards for my work.

How did you get started in this business?
While in school in Chapel Hill, studying photojournalism, I interned with a local wedding photographer and fell in love with the work. Shooting people's joy and happiness inspires me and I'm always grateful that people allow me access to these intimate moments.
What types of customers have you worked with?

What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
Go with a photographer you feel comfortable with, that won't make you feel awkward when they are in the room alone with you moments before you walk down the aisle :)
What questions should customers think through before talking to vendors about their needs?
Remember that after the wedding day, these photographs (and your own memories) are the only things you take with you. Don't pick an unexperienced photographer to save money, it's a decision you will regret :)
