About

My service is for my clients to be themselves! My area is a no judgement zone. I welcome everyone of different backgrounds and beliefs as long as it's respectable. I love to embrace new people and make sure that we have a GREAT time during their service. I want to leave an impact that's unforgettable with all of my clients and as long as I can put a smile on their faces, my job is complete.

I enjoy the reactions most of all. I enjoy seeing the transformations and witnessing the impact that I leave on everyone. I love trying out trendy styles, whether if I stick to them or not. I just love that this profession is a never ending, yet rapidly growing business that has more pros than cons and that is something that makes me more motivated to keep going.

    Frequently asked questions

A typical process would be setting up a free in-person consultation. This is important simply because personal concerns could be discussed plus this gives a great opportunity to introduce each other. After we touch bases during the consultation, we can proceed with scheduling an appointment or we can work together to initiate a time and date for the future if interested.

I am a licensed Cosmetologist since 2012. I've been braiding since the age of 13 (16 years) and have a few great mentors to keep me motivated along my journey.

I price all of my services based of length and style of the braids.

My mother is a hair braider. I grew up watching her successfully start her business and interact with many people in our community. She was always on top of her game with retaining clientele and keeping a great system with them as well. As a child, I would purchase doll babies and practice braiding until it got to the point where i was in 8th grade and braiding for friends and family. That became a hustle that got me through high school. After graduating, I knew I was not ready for college, so I took the opportunity to enroll in Cosmetology school and from there, things took off. I networked and marketed myself until things grew tremendously. Here I am, post quarantine and working on getting things back on track.

I have worked with multiple groups of people. Various ages, ethnicities and personalities. I'm easily adaptable & that's what makes this enjoyable.

A recent event that I'm fond of is servicing a patient who just conquered cervical cancer and wanted to feel new again. She trusted me to braid her hair after regrowing it post treatment and the service was fulfilling yet emotional. We both grew close and it's been wonderful to be part of her healing journey.

Ask questions! Be open and honest throughout your interview process. Feel them out, ask for credentials. This is for you, therefore gain all the information that you need on your braider/hair stylist.

Working with particular hair types. How well do they handle stress? Are they trained with working with tender heads? Do they have experience in tucking/blending? Are they flexible? What age group do they service? What are your COVID protocols? How do you sanitize your area/tools/supplies?
