What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client I try and get a feel of who they are and what they are specifically looking for. I then offer a consultation to get a better understanding of their hair and what I'm working with. At the first appointment I take them step by step through the process of what I'm doing and the products I'm using. Provide comfortbility and I personalize the experience with each client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to natural hair school at an accredited facility and have taken the proper exams to obtain my natural hair license. I have also gone above and beyond to do further research to learn about things that weren't necessarily taught in the school.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All of my prices are a base pay. Prices do vary with complications, repairs, or any extra work that isn't typically done during a certain service
How did you get started in this business?
I started doing hair when I was 14 years old and I wanted to grow out my relaxer but my mom didnt wan't to deal with my hair.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of clients. From children to senior citizens. I have also worked with people with mental disabilities.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I'd give the client the best advice that I can give. Even if I can't provide a certain service I can possibly refer them to someone who i feel will give the same experience as I would. I want what's best for my client.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I think clients should ask specific questions that fit their direct needs. If the professional cannot answer your question they just may not be the pro for you. A professional should be able to provide some type of answer for any question asked pertaining to their field even if it's not the answer you were necessarily looking for.
