About
Hello Coty,
I'm Michael, owner of Advanced Concepts Photowerx. I started working behind the camera over 30 years ago and I have shot for many different magazines, newspapers and my own projects. I have lots of experience with fashion to include boudoir shoots. I will be happy to shoot the images you want and can send you examples of my work. Respond to me with your email and I will show you the type of work I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical contact for shoots is to have a meet and greet to discuss details of the shoot and establish time, location, if any extra services are needed such as hair and make up or any special props I may need to supply. It is also when contracts are signed and any down payment is paid if applicable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design with a BA in Commercial Photography. I continually study and train on my own with updates to gear and software used for the job.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Details for pricing will be provided at the meet and greet or emailed if needed.
How did you get started in this business?
I recieved a camera while I was in basic training. I was 18 and shipped over seas where I started taking pictures. After a few years, I started to submit my images to magazines, papers and contests. People took an interest in my work so I started to learn the finer aspects of photography and my love for being behind the camera grew.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with bands, pro sports teams, magazines, newspapers, professional models, clothing designers and the average everyday person that just wants high quality images.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Due to COVID there haven't been that many recent events but I have recently shot the Chattanooga Football Club home games. I have also shot some graduation photos for local seniors. I am also looking forward to travelling and shooting concert and events.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Expect to sign a contract, ask for examples of their work and don't be afraid to listen too and try suggestions from the photographer. Some of my best portrait work has been when I added poses from my fashion work to a simple family portrait session.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Budget, location, time needed for shoot and how long will it be for the photographer to have the finished images to you.
