What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually there are only a couple questions I need answered, including what type of work and where. Some clients want me to handle the whole process and just give them the completed imagery, others want to be more hands on, and I help them bring their vision alive
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Shooting a sunset over a nearby lake on a whim. And getting a call from an agency in New York City who needed a Nashville-based architectural photographer, and chose me!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at what they have created previously. In this industry, the quality of content is king. Choose based off quality and good reviews, not just price, else you may end up with a headache.
For drone photography, you need to make sure the person you are hiring is licensed!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are you looking for? If there is a video on youtube than has caught your attention, and you want the product you receive to look like that, send it in your description!
You want an idea of what you want, but also remember, we are pros; if you tell us your end goal and who will be seeing the video, and we can tell you what you need.
