Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To start off, I like to have an initial brief phone call with the bride to get a quick overview of what her needs are or where she is at in the process. At this time, no money is discussed unless specifically asked. I then schedule a 1 hr initial consultation at a minimal cost to go over specifics and to discuss the needs based upon a survey sent a week in advance. At this point a tentative quote for services is given. After that I allow the bride to go over what was discussed with others involved to decide services needed and their budget. Based on the budget I then present a more firm quote.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken 2 event planner courses and I am in process of getting fully certified as a wedding planner.

How did you get started in this business?

My mother was a wedding dress maker and I started doing planning for her customers as well as for other events during college.
