What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always block out a little extra time for new guests. We have a thorough consultation to make sure we are on the same page before moving forward to build the confidence of our guest for a successful service and end result.

How did you get started in this business?
I have curly hair myself, the more I worked with my hair, the more I fell in love with this industry. Learning to work on my own hair led to working on everyone else who would let me at the age of 12. I signed up for beauty school on the day of my 17th birthday (the earliest I could get in) and began going to beauty school at night while attending my senior year of high school during the day, and became a shampoo assistant on the weekends.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of guests and all hair types.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was really excited to train to do the Deva Curl Services. I felt I had a pretty good understanding of curly hair, but this definitely took it to the next level. Also, finding a brand that was exclusive to curls was something that peaked my interest because it is so rare.
