I love the creativity of photography. Connecting with people and achieving what they are looking for in their portraits. I especially get giddy with my clients that love to step outside the box and do something different.

When booking a new client, the process is to first discuss what it is that they want, confirm that I understand what they want, discuss pricing, and schedule a date. I try to make it as simple as possible.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. All of my services are priced the same across the board. My hourly rate is calculated by shoot time and post processing time. My rates are posted on my website for transparency.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always loved photography. In college I started taking classes but became a mother and chose diapers over camera equipment. Once my son finished college, I felt it was time to get back to the things I love.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a broad spectrum of clients. Graduate portraits, boudoir, real estate, product photography, maternity, headshots, weddings, and businesses updating their websites.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently photographed a wedding where everything that could go wrong, did. It started with the bridal party being late, one bride was freaking out and I was having a time calming her down, the other bride was late. All in all everything took place and the happy couple loved the photos. I felt super challenged b/c my lights stopped working and I didn't bring a flash as a backup. I had to think on the fly and make it happen. The photos turned out great!
