LaJ's Gourmet Catering
About
The excitement I get is to see happy faces when they taste my food, not only does my presentation looks appetizing I make sure that taste buds explodes with flavor.
What I do to make my services as remerable is good quality food, tasty and good customer service. I had a wedding of 300 people some years back and the bride had a Horderve hour while the wedding party took pictures, well the mother of the bride came into the kitchen asking when will the food be served and I explained to her that the bride gave me a hour window to serve Horderves and after that the parents and wedding party will be served. The mother of the bride expressed she drove four hours to get here and she was hungry and she didn't want Horderves. So I stopped what I was doing and took her to the side to calm her down and to assure her she will eat soon and if there was anything I could serve her until dinner was served and she calmed down after that. It was all about the bride that day and I didn't want her day to be ruined.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process with new customers is first ask what is expected of me once hired for a job and I follow out what is asked of me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My family is from Louisiana and I have been cooking since the age of 12, my exhusband and I had a mom and pop restaurant for four years, my family and friends go camping every year for the past five years and one of the highlights is a cook off. We pick random families at the camp site to be judges for the cook off competition and I won first place the last three times. The competitors range from six to eight people, each of competitor put money in the pot and winner takes all!
