Studio C Salon, LLC
About
Because I treat the stylist/client experience like a relationship, I make sure to care for my client's tresses. My work must speak for itself and to others. I focus on the health of hair first then make it trendy. I'm up for change and hope my clients are as well.
I enjoy giving my clients that joy of a beautiful head of hair. When I see that smile across their face or can help them boost their confidence, I've done my job.
I've been professionally working as a hairstylist for 12 years. Althought I've made a career as an accountant, hair is my passion and has always been a part of my life. I began styling hair as a child with my dolls and learned to braid from my childhood babysitter at the age of four.
From there, it was doing my friend's hair at home, to deciding to take the step towards becoming a professional cosmetologist in high school by beginning cosmetology school. Whether it was doing hair on campus in college, being an assistant to my aunt who was a stylist, hair was ever present in my life. After graduating from grad school, I opened a salon in Louisville, Kentucky that ran successfully for two years.
Although it was successful, I took a step out on faith and decided to move to Irving, Texas. I began working in a local Ulta salon to build clientele and be exposed to different nationalities of hair. Now can be found in my own suite in the Valley Ranch area of Irving!
I would love to meet you and your tresses! Make your appointment today!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I welcome all new clients. In doing so there will be a consultation and assessment of the client and their hair. We must be open and honest with one another, as this can be the beginning of relationship!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed cosmetologist in both Texas and Kentucky. Throughout the year, I attend different continuing education opportunities. This is an ever changing and evolving industry and I must stay up-to-date.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have standard pricing, which can very depending on the complexity of the process or amount of hair the client has. These prices can be found on StyleSeat.com/CiaraHodge.
How did you get started in this business?
I began styling hair as a child with my doll babies. It's a passion of mine that has never left. My senior year in high school, I decided to advance that passion and attend cosmetology school on top of my regular classes. I finished up while attending my first year college.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with differnt races, from African American to Indian to Caucasian. That's a wide range of textures!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A new client referral came in, not off the trust of the person who referred her (that I've styled for a few years now), but to test me to see if I knew how to do hair, my credentials, and to see if I knew what I was talking about. Safe to say at the end of the appointment she loved her hair.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advise would be to ask questions. Look over their reviews. Look at the style of the stylist. You're looking to "date" that new stylist so you should want to get to know your potential "mate".
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is what I want far fetched or attainable with the hair I have?
Am I a high or low maintenance individual?
Will I commit to taking care of my hair?
