Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We conduct an initial consultation via phone or in person. Once needs are assessed, we can plan out the photoshoot. We will go over scheduling and availability to select a shoot date. Conduct the shoot on the specified day/time. Upload a proof gallery of the images from that days photoshoot for client selection. Once selections are made, we will get the selected images retouched and delivered via Dropbox or the like as soon as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have have had several years of formal training in school and many more years of practical application. Additionally, I host group shoots, workshops, and training events for the next generation of aspiring photographers. I am also a regular guest speaker at the Professional Photographers of America's annual training conference "Texas School".
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are detailed on my website. There is not much that is "standard" in this industry; therefore, please inquire for a custom quote.
How did you get started in this business?
Photography has always been a passion of mine since I was a young child. After spending many not so glorious years in the restaurant industry, I decided to give in to my passion.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most every type I suppose.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I much enjoyed crafting custom headshots for a corporate clients conference.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire based on the quality of their work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Paint us a picture of what it is you are looking for. Will you want to shoot inside, outside, in studio? Will you be needing assistance with hair or makeup, or with prop, fashion, or food styling? Will this require multiple photographers?
