What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

All Loc/Dreadlocks Extensions,Braid and Loc Combining clients ONLY‼️ must schedule a consultation before setting an appointment for Loc/Dreadlocks extensions and braids. (Free) via video (this is to determine hair texture,color and length)

Deposit for all BRAIDS. LOC/DREADLOCKS EXTENSIONS, Crochet Retwists & Loc Combining/ Wicks‼️
DEPOSIT MUST BE MADE TO CONFIRM APPOINTMENT ‼️

All deposits are no refundable (includes cancellations and or after one time reschedule)

All deposits go toward your final bill for hair and appointment. Must receive deposit FIRST to lock in appointment. Receipts and appointment confirmation will be sent as soon as deposit is made.

How did you get started in this business?

I started helping my grandmother in her hair salon as a kid. Went to Costmotology school in 1995

I was the kid that did everyone's hair in the neighborhood and at school lol!

All types...mostly Locs,natural hair and hair extensions.

I love to revamp clients! And turning damaged hair into healthy hair. Lifting up self-esteem

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Know what your stylist specializes in. Ask questions. And listen closely to your stylist for education on your hair texture,healthy status, products and maintenance. Educate yourself on your Loc journey so you can understand YOUR hair better. What works for others might not work for your hair texture. Keep up maintenance with your loc's. (But not to much,may cause breakage or thinning)

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Be honest about what chemicals is in your hair. Have a hair consultation so your stylist can know exactly what she is working with.
Check out previous work they have done on other clients. Make sure your stylist cares and is educated on Dreadlocks!
