The people! For me it’s that simple. I really enjoy the people that I get to meet and work with. There’s something very humbling about being allowed to photograph something as special as someone’s wedding day. Or their child’s senior portrait, I could go on. But at the end of the day it’s about the people.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is very customer service driven. I am absent of any ego, I will however offer my professional opinion with regard to lighting, location etc. I love to laugh and have fun all the while keeping an eye on creating fantastic images because after all YOU are the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been published, and have over 18 years of full-time photography experience. There isn’t a location or lighting situation that I am not fully equipped to handle.

All of my pricing can be found on my website. With that said I will create a custom package to work within your budget. Especially when it comes to your wedding or family portraits you need a full-time TRUE professional and I don’t want you to have to hire an amateur to create your memories because of budgetary restraints.
How did you get started in this business?
How I got started with real simple. I have a passion for photography that has not waned over all of these years and I’ve wanted to make a living doing what it is that I truly love to do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types of customers… You name it I work with them.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The last wedding I did in December was a true treat. It was a couple being married for the second time, they were in their late 30s and just truly in love. But more than that they had smiles on their face all night, they danced, they laughed and they just were a true delight to be around!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire a true PROFESSIONAL! I know things can get expensive, trust me I get it. But when you are hiring someone to capture your special memories whether it’s a your; wedding day, family portrait or just your actor Headshots. This is the one area where you do not want to hire a beginner. Trust me when I tell you this fact. Beginner photographers are using you for their practice and portfolio development.
This is the one profession where price does tell you the quality of photographer you will be hiring. A $500 wedding photographer is not going to deliver high-quality images and be able to handle the very complicated lighting situations of a church or a reception venue. This is the one area where you shouldn’t cut costs. Whether you hire me or not, do yourself a favor and hire a true professional photographer.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The one question all clients should ask them selves is a simple one: how important are these images to me, my family and are they representative of something I want to remember over the years? If the answer is yes, then you need to hire a true professional. Whether you hire me or not do yourself a favor and hire a professional photographer.
