I was really excited by the reviews, but was disappointed by my actual experience. Tuna melt was below average, and only cooked on one side. Tuna chunks, not salad (dry), and cheese was America, although I asked for swiss.

Breakfasts looked good, and service was cheerful, but I left feeling confused by the Yelp rating.

QThis is a Mom and Pop place with good breakfast. We came upon it by accident and we were glad that someone dumped us here. We actually returned because we enjoyed the food and service. If you are ever in the Belmont, Ma area make sure you stop by.

But the twist is that its a delicious breakfast sandwich. They serve breakfast all day and I definitely take advantage of it.

I got a delicious ham, egg & cheese on a toasted bagel, served just the way I like it. Priced as good as it looks and tastes!

Let me start off by saying that Im not usually a big fan of going out for breakfast because I think its pricey for food that I can just cook up at home. However, this morning, my kitchen was a mess from the week, and I needed a good, hearty, quick breakfast to motivate me to get going. I remembered this place because I pass by it on my way to Ohlins, and its walking distance from my house. I didnt feel like taking the car out. Theres no website to take a look at their menu online, and so I read all 15 Yelp reviews and decide to give it try.

Once there, I grab a seat at the counter, and look through the menu. Its a very basic menu, nothing fancy, pretty straight forward diner food. The Yelp reviews mentioned the omelets and pancakes. Diner food at most places is the same old stuff, but you have to read customer reviews to know exactly where the restaurant shines. So, I go with a feta cheese and mushroom omelet, and its served with toast and home fries.

Since Im at the counter, I can see the cooks working. I noticed how they were making the omelets and was worried that mine would come out overcooked. However, the omelet came out fine. The feta cheese was very tasty and the mushrooms were super fresh and thickly cut giving off a very mushroom-y flavor. The home fries were bland, but I soon found ketchup to be the answer. I put the standard grape jelly on my lightly buttered Scali toast. I washed it all down with orange juice. Overall, the plate was very well balanced in terms of flavors. There was no need for salt or pepper.

My only gripe is that I wish there had been more home fries! Its okay though as Im mindful of my carbohydrate intake. It was enough food to feel full and to feel that I got my moneys worth. For $15, including the tip, I thought this was a good deal. I would come back again!

The breakfast menu is quite simple but every. single. thing. on the plate was delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly, the home fries must have been cooked in some kind of delicious animal fat, sausage was great, the toast was even fresh and flavorful. And the coffee is strong! I was so pleasantly surprised and I will definitely be coming back.

Best dinner in town food is amazing and the women couldnt be nicer Patricia is super sweet and loves her job. keep doing your thing I love my Sunday morning breakfast at Teddys kitchen. Reasonable prices and delicious food.
