Jay is an excellent photographer. He has been doing the head shots for my company for many years now. He is punctual and professional. I highly recommend him.

  • Christie Proctor

Jay makes everyone feel comfortable and has fun while taking pictures. He can make anyone’s headshot look amazing!

  • Devin Connelly - Ethos Media

Jay is everything I would expect from a real professional. On time, open lines of communication, great results, industry-grade equipment, and fun to be around. I've hired him since our initial project together and plan to continue to do so in the future.

He seems to naturally know how to make different individuals "pop." I have him do all of my team's headshots and we have NEVER been disappointed.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Most discussions with new customers begin over the phone or via email. At that point I am trying to learn what the customer needs and whether or not that is a good fit with my skill set.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am largely self-taught with the help of several mentors through the years. I have extensive training in Photoshop and also have FAA certification for flying a drone for commercial work.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Pricing can be based on an hourly rate or, in the case of product photography, a per-piece cost. Typically, the more work involved in a project, the lower the cost per hour.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

In addition to a photographer's skill-set, you should be sure that you are a good match from an interpersonal perspective. By that I mean, be sure you are going to enjoy working with your photographer, as we all have different personalities!
