My name is "Chanel" I'm a Hair Stylist from Houston, Tx. I've been doing hair for 18 years and I specialize in ALL textures(Not just ethnic hair). I also, do hair for special occasions like Weddings, Proms, Baby Showers, Birthdays etc. I can do Sew Ins (Extensions), Quick Weaves(Bonded), Crochet, Cut & Color, Cut & Style, Relaxers, Perms, Updos and more. I take great pride in what I do. I LOVE what I do. I spend time educating my clients about their hair & products for their hair. I'm a very diverse hair stylist that enjoys answering all of clients questions, helping them to embrace their natural, helping them to feel beautiful, and providing them with GREAT customer service!! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well I start by telling the clients a little bit about me and what I do. I ask questions about the clients hair. Or I ask them to tell me their concerns or issues with their hair. I basically get to know the client and understand their expectations of their hair. Find out as much as I can so, I know how to treat, style or cut their Hair etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Paul Mitchell The School & Regency Beauty Institute. I've work at a few different salons, had my own suite in Houston, Tx & worked out of my home.

Yes, I have starting prices for ALL of my services. My prices may increase depending the length, thickness & service being provided.
How did you get started in this business?
I started doing hair at a very, very young age and it's been that way since. I started working from home, salons, and my own suite.
What types of customers have you worked with?
ALL different races. I'm very diverse when it comes to hair! I love that about myself because, that was my goal to learn how to style, cut and color ALL hair types. Not just ethnic hair.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a Hair Stylist that LOVES what they do, takes the time to listen & educate you on products & your hair, a stylist that has a positive attitude, good energy and awesome at what he or she does.
