Charlie Neuenschwander Photography
About
I am a portrait specialist because I love working with people. I try to photograph everyone that steps in front of my lens in an honest and authentic way and I believe there is a natural image that can be made, even in the most set up of situations.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically start with communication to fully understand the needs of our prospective client as much as possible.
Once we have determined how we can help a client create their vision and bring it to life we establish an estimated cost for services and submit it to the client for review and approval.
If approved and we are awarded the job, we work with clients to schedule dates execute the shoot and deliver images within an agreed time frame.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent about 13 years in healthcare right out of college. My education was geared towards the sciences but I studied photography as a hobby for several years before I turn it into my living.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every job is different so I prefer to speak to a potential client before I send them price quotes but generally speaking I break my service is down into a day rate system. A full day typically is required for large jobs, smaller projects may be covered over a half day and quick headshot type portrait shoots are usually quite a 1/4 day rate.
How did you get started in this business?
I started by shooting magazine assignments for a local lifestyle magazine.
What types of customers have you worked with?
most of my clients are commercial, businesses, companies etc. I do occasionally work with individual business persons and private portrait clients.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do you were research and the higher the person that is right for you. Not all photographers are the same and five different photographers will probably shoot your project five completely different ways.
Finding the photographer that works with your budget as well as can deliver on your vision is out there but I would also remind potential customers of the old cliché "you get what you pay for."
