About

I am known for making my clients feel at ease and comfortable during their portrait sessions, and I love catching candid moments! I have a sharp eye for detail when shooting people and products. I produce natural looking images- the client doesn't look awkward or uncomfortable, and I don't use heavy, unnecessary retouching.

I love the look on people's faces when they see their images! I know that I have given them a sense of confidence, and images they will enjoy for a long time. It is very rewarding!

I love the artistic capabilities of being a photographer, it is different than any other medium and I love using my camera as a way to express myself. Combining my eye with the clients ideas is always a challenge accepted, and I strive to always do my best.

When shooting product I love playing with the highlights and shadows to accentuate the product and bring out its unique characteristics.

Frequently asked questions

I like to find out what it is the customer wants to acheive, are they looking for headshots? Some portraits for fun or for their social media? It is important to know what the images are going to be used for so that they can be shot accordingly to reach the desired outcome.

The same goes for product photography, it depends on if it is for social media, a website, a print ad, etc. What is the product about and what does it do? These are all important things to ask a client to help them get the best results!

I graduated from SLCC with an Associate's in 2013 and I have been shooting ever since! I've done events and portraiture, and even some pets!

I worked in a corporate photo studio for 3 years where I learned how to shoot product and lifestyle, including decor, furniture and jewelry.

Standard pricing for events is $200/hr, with a 2 hour minimum.

Pricing for product varies on what shots are needed, how much retouching will be involved based on the type of product (for instance jewelry requires a significant amount of retouching), and the final output of the image for usage rights.

I have been doing art my whole life, and at one point I got into multimedia art and wanted to start using my own images instead of borrowed ones from magazines. I had a point and shoot, and one day, it died. So I decided to invest in a DSLR (professional camera). I hit a plateau in using it, so I decided to go to school to learn about my camera. Little did I know the possibilities I would learn about and decided to pursue a degree. I was a makeup artist at the time, so I have a background in makeup as well. I found that my camera made people feel good about themselves just as a nice makeup application, and fell in love.
