What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet to discuss the clients needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken numerous classes on photography and lighting. I have over 16 years of photography experience. I am a member of Professional Photographers of America. I also am a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.
How did you get started in this business?
I felt I was spending too much money on photography sessions for my kids and grandkids. I knew I could do it for less, so I learned all I could. My goal is to have affordable professional photography so that nobody has to go without those precious memories.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with all types of customers. Private individuals to large corporations.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at their work. Be sure you like their style of photography and thier editing style.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Does the photographer do their own editing? Do they have back up photographers? When doing a wedding, is a second photographer for the ceremony standard or an additional cost? How much experience do they have with lighting, editing and shooting?
