About
Hi! My name is Michelle Bosch and I am the creator and owner of BoschStudios Photography. I am a creative lifestyle portrait photographer specializing in natural light and shoot on location. I'm currently serving the Northern Virginia/Washington DC area but I'm always willing to travel - destination weddings, yes please! I offer a variety of lifestyle portrait services - check them out www.boschstudios.com
Ultimately, I enjoy making people happy. There is no greater joy then providing quality work to my clients and getting positive feedback in response!
One of my favorite things to photograph are dogs. After working in the veterinary field for 10 years, I took my passion for animals and put it into photography. I genuinely enjoy photographing animals and love being able to capture their personalities. Plus, in this day and age, they are part of the family so your pets are always welcome (and are encouraged) to be included in your photo shoot!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I consider myself a "one woman band" in my business. From the beginning of the booking process to the delivery of the images, I'm there with you every step of the way! I answer the emails and phone calls, I take the photos, I do all of the image editing as well as organize and deliver the client photo galleries. No outsourcing, no surprises!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate from The Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) at Boston University, Georgetown Campus, with a Certificate of Achievement in Professional Digital Photography.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For pricing inquiries, the best way to communicate is via email. Since I offer a variety of services, I have different rates for different types of photo jobs. I just ask that you let me know what type of photo shoot you're interested in so I can email you the appropriate price sheet!
How did you get started in this business?
After going to school for photography, I wanted to make this my career, so I put myself out there and started working for other photographers and booked small jobs while working a full time job. Eventually I got to a place where I felt comfortable leaving my full time job and now I work for myself!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my customers are couples and families that are interested in engagement sessions, weddings, anniversary sessions, maternity sessions, family photos, newborn sessions, pet portraits, etc. I have worked with local bloggers, other small businesses and Pure Barre and Xtend Barre.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just photographed a very small and intimate, at-home wedding and it was one of the sweetest events I've photographed. I love smaller, nontraditional weddings.
