Cody and I have been in a long distance relationship for the past couple

of years. Right after we got engaged, we knew that we needed to schedule

an engagement photo shoot during one of my trips out to Virginia. When researching the area, I came across Shannon’s website and completely fell in love with her photography. Shannon was a pleasure to work with and made everything so easy. She worked with the distance when coordinating the shoot and everything came together so smoothly when we finally met. Despite the sudden rain on the day of our shoot, she was able to pull

everything together and find another great location for our pictures. These were the first pictures of our life together as an engaged couple and Shannon made it a wonderful and memorable experience.

He’s the love of our life and you captured his true personality and beauty. You made him feel comfortable and you were able to catch those little “moments” that are sometimes rare to find. We are thoroughly pleased with the end result and spent hours upon hours trying to decide which ones are our favorites. Once we did decide, your turnaround time was phenomenal! We will treasure these photos forever and plan to use you to take family photos of all of us once the adoption is final.

On May 2, 2009, Mike & I said I do, in front of our beloved friends and family. There to capture every moment of our special day was Shannon. Looking through our albums you would never guess the chaos that was going on behind the scenes, because the pictures were perfect. She made sure to capture every special memory from our wedding and then some!! We selected Shannon as our wedding photographer and couldn’t be happier that we did. But that didn’t really give us an idea of what it would be like to work with her on the day of the event.
