What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask the customer what they are looking for in a photoshoot so I can help them achieve their goals.
Most of my work at this point in my career is done on location inside or out.
i try to bring out the client’s personality whether it be for work or dating or a celebration of a mile stone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography and video production in college as well as a certification program.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are set but depend on what the photoshoot entails.
For instance how many poses, wardrobe changes, scenery changes are desired. If I need to set of lighting, or extra travel.
How did you get started in this business?
I started with family portraits and weddings, I then spent 10 years in a studio and school portraits.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers include ages ranging from newborn to senior citizens. School pictures, high school seniors and dancers. I’ve worked with businesses for headshots, people looking to enhance their dating site, I’ve shot events including weddings, retirement parties, birthday parties, gender reveal events, and corporate events.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
An event I enjoyed was a reunion in an outdoor setting. I was able to get a lot of candid pictures capturing the joy of the event.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
In looking for a photographer, things to look for in their work is their framing, horizon should be straight, the exposure, whites and darks should have detail. Their willingness to listen to what you want and the ability take your ideas and add their own technical and artistic skill.
