Hi there! I'm Amanda and I specialize in maternity, child and family photography. I'm known for my never ending patience and my ability to bond with children...I'm basically the Mary Poppins of photography! My high energy level is perfectly suited for working with toddlers and teens, while my positive attitude and easy going nature puts adults at ease and will have you feeling comfortable in front of my camera in no time!

I also specialize in printed products for your home, so you can finally say "bye-bye" to your blank walls! Every photo session comes with my custom design service where I use images of the walls in your home to show you what the actual products will look like once installed. The best part is that once your products arrive, I'll deliver and hang them at no extra cost!

I've been photographing professionally since 2003 and I'm based in Kirkland, Washington. One of the things I really enjoy about being a portrait photographer is the ability to travel all over the world to work with families like yours! I primarily service the Pacific Northwest and I visit San Francisco regularly to photograph my Bay Area clients. I've been commissioned for photo sessions throughout the United States as well as Mexico and Bora Bora. I love having the flexibility to photograph your family at locations that reflect your personalities!

I come from an experience of working with Amanda on a number of different and wide-ranging photographic projects over the past six years. My wife and I hire Amanda annually for our family photos and Christmas cards. Weve hired her to work on a multi-day destination photo shoot to Bora Bora. I have her shoot real estate home listings photos for my real estate business and weve even had her shoot our running club photos at a running race in San Francisco. We can tell you that throughout all of our projects shes proven herself to be adaptable, caring, patient, professional, hard working and most importantly...fun!

She has a very talented photographic eye, understands lighting techniques and knows how to get the very best photo possible. Amanda did an absolutely amazing job when it came to our newborn daughters photos. Even before the actual photo shoot she made sure to answer every single question that I had (which I had A LOT of!) and she scheduled tentative dates around her due date. Our baby girl came a week and a half early and when I had messaged Amanda about it she didnt even falter, she instantly gave me new options for dates and arranged a time to come over to our house.

She provided all the information needed for us to prepare the house for the photo shoot, she was also very understanding of the fact that I had a C-Section and may be a bit under the weather for the photos.

She came over with all these amazing props for her so that we could have several different options. If I ever suggested a pose or a photo she made sure to get that shot. Our baby girl was not the most cooperative for her, she either kept waking up crying or just being fussy during the photo shoot. Amanda was SO patient and would allow time for me to go try to feed the baby and try again, and if it didnt work out again she would wait it out. She was at our house pretty much all day just to make sure that she got plenty of shots and options, and she never seemed frustrated at all even though it had taken so much of her time. She made sure to make all of us comfortable during the shoot as well!

All of that was just her taking the photos and beforehand. The photos themselves were absolutely stunning! She did such an amazing job and we truly couldnt be happier with the final products. She gave us plenty of options to choose from and in fact it was SO hard to choose between them because all of them looked so wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend Amanda for any photos for every single occasion, she does such an amazing job!!!

Amanda has taken our sons newborn photos, cake smash photos and our family photos. She is incredibly easy to work with, schedule times and locations with and she has such a positive & upbeat attitude it just makes you have such an amazing experience! Its also amazing that all kids just seem to love her! Our son is very particular in what he wants to do, when he wants to do it and who he wants to interact with. Amanda has been able to get him to laugh & have fun with her for her shots in such short time frames. The quality of her photos are also amazing. I am sooooooo happy with how every photo has turned out thus far and her ability to help you create your photo wall and give suggestions...I just highly recommend her!!! I always recommend her and cant say enough nice things about her & her work!
